This study was carried out to evaluate the nutritive value of elephant grass (Pennisetum purpureum, Schum.) silages with the addition of 0, 4, 8, 12 and 16% dehydrated mango (Mangifera indica, L.) by-product (DMB), on the fresh matter basis. La boutargue est constituée par les ovaires salés et séchés des mulets à grosse tête (Mugil cephalus) et de la courbine (Argyrosomus regius) représente une ressource importante pour la région de Nouakchott et pour la Mauritanie. Pour déterminer la valeur énergétique dans les boutargues, nous avons effectué des dosages des protéines, des glucides, des lipides et des études analytiques des acides gras et des lipides. Les analyses ont révélé que la boutargue contient, par rapport aux autres éléments d’énergie, très peu de glucide : 3,29% dans la boutargue du mulet et 1,95% dans celle de la courbine. : تمثل البطارخ، مبايض سمك البوري (Mugil cephalus) والكوربين (Argyrosomus regius) المملحة و المجففة، ثروة هامة لمنطقة نواكشوط ولموريتانيا. لمعرفة مقدار الطاقة في هذه البطارخ، قمنا بدراسة كمية لمكوناتها الطاقية : الدهنيات والبروتينات و السكريات و كيفية للدهنيات. بينت هذه الدراسة أن البطارخ تحتوي على نسب ضئيلة من السكريات. ففي بطارخ الكوربين لاتتجاوز 1,95 % و3,29 %في بطارخ البوري. في هذه الأخيرة ترتفع نسبتي البروتينات و الدهنيات إلى 44,44 % و31,68 % بينما في بطارخ الكوربين تصل هاتين النسبتين إلى%55,11 و15,86 %. كما تبين أن البطارخ غنية بالطاقة حيث توجد بها 493,80 كيلوكالوري/100غ في بطارخ البوري و 384,27 كيلوكالوري/100غ في بطارح الكوربين وكل غرام من بطارخ البوري تحتوي على 28,1 ملغ أحماض دهنية و19,7 أحماض دهنية ببطارخ الكوربين . تنقسم هذه الأحماض إلى ثلاث...

The objective of the present study was to evaluate the apparent digestibility coefficients of dry matter (DM), crude protein (CP) and gross energy (GE) of the following agro-industrial byproducts: cassava leaf (Manihot esculenta), mesquite bean (Prosopis juliflora), cotton (Gossypium species), cocoa (Theobroma cacao), soursop (Annona squamata) and African oil palm cake (Elaeis guineensis) for Nile tilapia (Oreochromis niloticus). El objetivo de la investigación fue determinar el rendimiento de materia seca, tasa de acumulación neta de forraje (TANF), dinámica de tallos, peso por tallo, recambio de tejido y valor nutritivo del pasto Mulato a diferente manejo de pastoreo. Se utilizaron 18 parcelas de 12.5 x 8 m, distribuidas aleatoriamente en un diseño de bloques al azar con arreglo factorial 3 x 2 (F: 14, 21, 28 días; I: 9-11, 13-15 cm de altura). El pasto Mulato, presentó mayor acumulación de forraje, aparición de tallos y recambio de tejido foliar en la época de lluvias y nortes. Dual-purpose wheat grain and animal production under different grazing periods PAB

The objective of this work was to evaluate the influence of different grazing periods on beef animal production and on wheat forage and grain yield. The experiment was carried out in Pato Branco, PR, Brazil. Six grazing periods were evaluated (0, 21, 42, 63, 84, and 105 days) on dual-purpose wheat cultivar BRS Tarumã. Purunã steers, with average live weight of 162 kg and ten months of age, were kept under continuous grazing using a variable stocking rate, in order to maintain the established sward height of 25 cm. Greater increases in total animal gain (TAG) occurred with longer grazing periods. No presente estudo, objetivou-se avaliar os efeitos do tempo de aeração sobre as características nutricionais e fermentativas da silagem de cana-de-açúcar. Utilizou-se o delineamento inteiramente casualizado com três tratamentos e quatro repetições. A cana-de-açúcar recém-picada foi exposta à aeração por 0, 4 ou 8 horas, sendo ensilada somente após cada tempo de espera. Após a exposição, o material foi ensilado em 12 silos experimentais confeccionados de baldes plásticos. A abertura dos silos ocorreu 85 dias após a ensilagem. The quality of sorghum BRS-610 silages in seven stages of grain maturity, between the milky and dry stage, for determination of the ideal moment of ensilage was evaluated. The silos were open after 56 days of fermentation. The values for dry matter of silages increased from 199 to 473g/kg or from 19.9 to 47.3%, with the advance of stage maturity of grains. As for the quality of fermentation, the silages may be classified as excellent quality in every stage of maturity. El objetivo del presente trabajo fue elaborar ensilados biológicos a partir de residuos de carpa común (Cyprinus carpio), utilizando dos fuentes de hidratos de carbono (miel y azúcar). Se realizaron dos formulaciones compuestas por: residuos de carpa, yogur (10%), azúcar (10%) o miel (10%) y ácido sórbico (0,25%). Se evaluaron los cambios durante el almacenamiento a 35-45° C. En la materia prima y en los ensilados se analizó: proteína bruta, extracto etéreo, humedad, cenizas, histamina, oxidación lipídica y bases nitrogenadas volátiles totales.
